Just when you think this date couldn’t get any more awkward… it does. UnHinged is a short comedy that tells the story of Adeline and Leo’s faux-pas laden lunch date at a Japanese restaurant in Melbourne. Audiences, bracing themselves as the date becomes more unhinged as it unfolds, will be faced with the ultimate question: is there a spark between these two romantic hopefuls? Or is it all just… unhinged?!
Lucie Jamison's directorial debut, UnHinged is an awkward comedy short film about modern dating in the age of phone apps and lunch dates. Set in Melbourne, Adeline and Leo make for lots of laughs, mostly at their expense. Lucie is a filmmaker and screenwriter based in Melbourne.

the doll’s house at heide
A documentary capturing the restoration of the ‘Doll’s House’ and new site-specific installation by artist Aleks Danko.
Located beside the Heide Cottage kitchen garden, the Doll’s House was a originally a milking shed belonging to the era when the property was a dairy farm, prior to John and Sunday’s purchase of the land in 1934. After their arrival the Reeds set about establishing a farm to table way of life, and along with a productive kitchen garden they had Jersey cows, chickens and ducks. In later years, when their art collection had outgrown the hanging space inside Heide Cottage, the shed was used as storage space for a number of valuable artworks, including Sidney Nolan’s famous Ned Kelly series.
We are delighted that this newly restored space and part of Heide’s history can now be enjoyed by visitors.
